Disney Interactive have released five custom-built Toy Boxes that are free of charge for the recently released Disney Infinity game and can be downloaded on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U and iPad. Disney Interactive’s free downloadable pack includes the Toy Boxes: Tron Highway, Sugar Mania, Monster Rally, Cosmic Platformer, and It’s a Trap!. Have a look at the descriptions for the new Toy Boxes:
- Tron Highway – Race a Light Runner, battle enemies, navigate mazes and find hidden paths to get to the end of the broken highway.
- Sugar Mania – Take King Candy’s Royal Racer for a sweet spin on a Sugar Rush-inspired racetrack.
- Monster Rally – Pull off a series of tricks in a side-scrolling stunt show spectacular.
- Cosmic Platformer – Compete with friends on an obstacle course that’s out of this world.
- It’s a Trap! – Pay close attention to get through these puzzling rooms. Beware of traps and double jumping!
According to the images and press release from Disney Interactive, each Toy Box seems to provide a unique experience. In Tron Highway, players are able to “race a light runner [and] battle enemies” while in It’s a Trap!, players will be navigating their way through “puzzling rooms” riddled with traps. Disney is also encouraging Infinity players to submit new ideas for future Toy Box creations as developers will soon be creating content based off of player feedback. Chris has been an avid gamer for quite some time now, going from Mario 64 to The Last of Us. Chris does not discriminate when it comes to games and strives to play them all on all systems...yes, even Angry Birds. Competitive multiplayer games such as Gears of War and story driven epics such as Uncharted 3 are what interest him the most, along with the inclusion of an RPG or two. Music is his other passion and he has been playing various woodwind instruments and the piano for the past 12 years. Chris is also a huge Breaking Bad fan and of course watches football, basketball, etc.... Writing about games and the industry has been a dream of his for as long as he can remember and he can now finally make that dream a reality thanks to Gaming Trend!
