Fistbump Your Way Through The New Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel Video

The Army of Two series has always seemed unappreciated, even though it’s provided solid co-op gameplay with some unique combat mechanics (never mind the fact that you can bling the crap out of all of your weapons). Army of Two: Devil’s Cartel hopes to follow in the same tradition of the previous entries in the series, but is upping the ante with a new developer (this time it’s being handled by Visceral Games, developers of Dead Space and Dante’s Inferno), and a new engine (the DICE-developed Frostbite 2 engine). What does this mean? Even crazier gun battles, more epic set pieces, destructible environments, and more. EA has sent over a video with developer commentary, showing off one of the levels featured in the game. Check the video out after the jump, and look forward to fistbumping your way through the game in March, 2013 on Xbox 360 and PS3.

I've been gaming since my dad made the bad decision of buying me a Nintendo when I was four years old. Every day I'd find myself with my face glued to a TV screen, punching away at buttons, getting furious with Bowser, Dr. Wily, and those freakin' birds in Ninja Gaiden. Since then I have failed to get my parents to play any board game with me, I sold my full copy of Earthbound with box and guide for $300 to some dude in Austria for rent money, and I still believe in Nintendo even after all these years.
