Yippee-ki-yay tabletop gamers, three-act quad-fold board game, Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist, is now available for purchase. The game will be a one-versus-many board game where players assume the role of Hans Gruber’s thieves or the legendary John McClane.
“We designed this new game mechanic for Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist to allow fans to play through the same story arcs and character development as in the movie,” said Pat Marino, Lead Game Designer, USAopoly. “As the game progresses through three acts, the board reveals more of itself, bringing about new challenges and objectives for players while increasing the game’s difficulty and complexity to keep everyone engaged.”
The individual playing John McClane must complete various objectives to save the hostages from Gruber and his clan of thieves. Meanwhile, the thieves must work together to hack the vault’s lock system and stop McClane. Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist features a quad-fold board, action cards with callbacks to Die Hard’s most memorable scenes, characters, and events, and custom-sculpted figures representing McClane, Gruber and the thieves.
Die Hard: The Nakatomi Heist is now available for purchase for $39.95. For more information or to order, visit the USAopoloy website. At Origins 2019, we had a chance to see the game in action. Check out our preview here.
