Square-Enix has officially unveiled Final Fantasy XII’s long-discussed remake, and it will be called Final Fantasy XII: The Zodiac Age.
Coming to PlayStation 4 in 2017, The Zodiac Age is based on the “International Job System” version of the 2006 RPG, which was originally isolated to Japan and never seen in other territories.

Final Fantasy XII’s remaster comes two years after Square’s remastering of Final Fantasy X and X-2, both of which also originated from the PlayStation 2. Since then, the duology has come to PlayStation 4, PS3, Vita, and most recently PC.
