Feel free to slack off with Slakoth during Pokémon Go’s Community Day this June

Today, Niantic and The Pokémon Company have announced a new Community Day event dated for June 8. The featured Pokémon this time around is Slakoth, which will have an increased presence in the game, with some special bonuses for the most dedicated trainers.

With the days getting longer and warmer in the Northern Hemisphere, this is the perfect opportunity to get out and explore where these lounging Slakoth are relaxing in the wild.

Pokémon GO’s June Community Day will kick off at 3PM – 6PM local time on Saturday, June 8th. Save the date and don’t slack-off or you’ll miss this opportunity to add this charming Pokémon to your Pokédex!

Features

– Slakoth will appear more frequently in the wild.

– Lure Modules will last three hours for the duration of the event.

– You may encounter a Shiny Slakoth if you’re lucky!

– Evolve Vigoroth during the event or up to one hour afterward to obtain Slaking that know a special move!
