Fallout 4 is proving itself a big success for publisher Bethesda Softworks, as the video game market analysis company SuperData has reported (via GamesIndustry.biz) that the game sold 1.87 million digital units in its first three days of release.
According to the company, about 1.2 million of these units were sold on PC, with the majority via Steam, and the rest on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. According to SuperData’s CEO, Joost van Dreunen, these units result in $100 million in digital sales.
Bethesda recently released news that 12 million copies of Fallout 4 were shipped worldwide to meet day one demand, resulting in $750 million in revenue.
