Fail Faster – Design Your Destiny from Jay Cormier, the designer of acclaimed games such as Harrow County and MGMT, is launching on Kickstarter this Tuesday, the 19th of September.
Design your destiny is a story book that also teaches adults and kids alike game design principles in a fun and guided way. You will learn about game design and make decisions on how to “fix” the broken games contained within.
As a really cool initiative, there is also an educator’s version available with a downloadable workbook, guide, and slide deck for teachers, librarians or camps to teach it out to groups. They will even have the ability for others to donate a copy to their local school, library, camp, or club.
