Even Realities showcases G1 Digital Glasses that can blend into everyday life

Let’s just be honest – the glasses that offer augmented reality of any level are clunky at best, and no matter what clip on glasses you throw on top of them, they aren’t fooling anyone.  Their value can be awesome in certain situations, but a very limited battery life makes them difficult to use beyond very specific use cases.  The G1 is looking to bridge that gap with a pair of everyday-wear digital eyeglasses that can display useful information without fully distracting the user from the world around them.  Let’s hear from the Founder of Even Realities, Will Wang:

It’s immediately obvious how you might be able to use these glasses in the real world without the need for bulky wires and batteries.  Bike riding with turn-by-turn, serial numbers for a Network Engineer working in a server room, incoming phone calls — being able to quickly assess the importance of something and then immediately ignore it as it’s not consuming your field of view sounds like it could be a cool innovation.

The G1’s patented signature screwless hinge and thin frame are meticulously designed to be lightweight and weight-balanced, providing exceptional ergonomics and comfort while maintaining the sturdiness of regular prescription glasses. The G1 frame is ultra lightweight incorporates premium materials such as magnesium alloys and a sandstone coating. Its adaptive temple support, made with hypoallergenic titanium alloys and silicone parts, offers a velvety feel.
