Eastasiasoft to release Ghost Blade HD in Asia, limited physical edition announced

Eastasiasoft announced yesterday that it will publish Hucast Games’ Ghost Blade HD in Asian territories on July 17 for PlayStation 4. While the game is already available in North America, the company also announced a limited physical edition of the game available to reserve starting next week on Play-Asia.

Ghost Blade HD is an intense Bullet-Hell top down shoot ’em up, composed by frenetic and addictive score-based gameplay. With its inspiration going back to the shooting games of the 1990s era, Ghost Blade HD ties old memories to current tones and techniques. Designed with a modern graphic style and special effects, Ghost Blade HD also features an awesome 2-player mode.

While the game is readily available here in North America, Eastasiasoft recently announced a special physical edition of Ghost Blade HD, available exclusively on Play-Asia. The print run is limited to 3,000 copies worldwide, and include the game disc, soundtrack CD, numbered certificate, and collector’s box. You can sign up for reservation notifications here. If you miss this print run, Limited Run Games previously announced the title for its upcoming lineup at E3, and will publish the game as well at a later date, with co-founder Douglas Bogart dispelling rumors of cancellation:

Update: Douglas Bogart recently clarified that the edition that was “inferior” in his last tweet was referring to the fact that Limited Run Games initially only planned on a standard edition of Ghost Blade HD. We apologize for any misunderstanding this has caused.

Ghost Blade HD is available now on PlayStation 4, with a release date of July 17 in Asia. Check out the trailer for the limited edition above, and stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
