Techland and Warner Bros have a new video to show for their 2014-slated title, Dying Light. This one focuses on….lighting! It also shows off some of the authentic world-building stuff they are doing with their new engine. It’s a pretty sweet video, as boring as I likely just made it sound. If you missed the announcements on Dying Light, here’s a little bit about the game:
Coming in 2014, Dying Light is a 4 player co-op action survival game set in an open world, boasting a bone-chilling day & night cycle. With the muscle of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, Techland is delivering a truly next-gen experience on full display in the trailer below. This is also the first look at a new location in the game, Old Town, and is completely different from everything that has been shown from Dying Light before.
The game looks GORGEOUS, and the team at Techland are obviously looking to make this a flagship next-gen example with their new Chrome Engine 6. Dying Light is heading to PlayStation 4, Xbox One, as well as PC, Xbox 360, and PlayStation 3. Stay tuned as we head towards the 2014 release date.
