Dying Light adding super-powered melee combat for April Fool’s Day

Tomorrow, April 1st, Dying Light players will be getting a one-day-only boost in physical strength as part of an April Fool’s Day event.

For 24 hours, starting at midnight PST, players will have increased melee power that lets you kick zombies across a map. You can get a glimpse into what you’ll experience in the video below.

The trailer’s description explains how this event came to be in the game’s lore with the following:

”The Global Relief Effort has released an emergency public service announcement. On April 1st, citizens trapped in Harran may experience some severe side effects from tainted Antizin injections circulating in the quarantine zone. Severe caution is advised.”
