During a sizzle reel in today’s E3 Nintendo Direct, we got a see a glimpse of a handful of upcoming new Switch titles. Among them was Dragon Ball FighterZ, the over-the-top 3-on-3 fighting game from Arc System Works.
Along with the added portability the Switch offers, it will also support play with just a single Joy-Con controller and the Switch Pro Controller. Much of Nintendo’s presentation today focused on Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but for fans of more traditional fighting games, this will surely be pleasant news. If the game on Switch can match the silky smooth framerate of the existing console and PC versions, then this should be only good news for Switch owners everywhere when it launches at an unspecified date in 2018.
