Today, SYBO and Rovio Entertainment Ltd. announced their games, Subway Surfers and Angry Birds 2, will have a crossover event as Subway Surfers celebrates its 14th anniversary. The event will include new themed content, characters, and gameplay experiences launching as part of the upcoming Super Runners update. As part of the update, players can race through a futuristic, neon-lit version of the city, based on Copenhagen where SYBO is based, as the characters transform into superheroes.
The crossover includes the following:
- The Subway Surfers Spell: Players who have reached level 13 can unlock a brand-new spell in Saga levels. Cast the iconic Subway Surfers Spell to grind straight through pig fortresses with maximum destruction.
- The Swag Adventure: This limited-time event allows players to conquer the Tower of Fortune to collect the exclusive Subway Surfers Hats. Equipping this fresh gear provides essential Flock Power to the birds, granting players high-speed boosts to dash through piggie defenses and progress through the adventure.
- A Complete Visual Takeover: The crossover experience is amplified with custom-themed event backgrounds, exclusive key art, and a special crossover event coin that perfectly blends the two legendary worlds.

The Subway Surfers Spell event will be available to players in Subway Surfers on May 11th, 2026, while the Swag Adventure event will be available to Angry Birds 2 players later on.
