Today, Ratalaika Games announced that it will publish an enhanced version of Jesse Makkonen’s Distraint soon. Debuting first at the Tokyo Game Show, the psychological horror game will be released on Nintendo Switch, 3DS, PlayStation 4, and Vita with added gameplay features.
DISTRAINT is a 2D psychological horror adventure game by Jesse Makkonen that has you step into the shoes of an ambitious young man named Price.
In order to secure a partner position within the famous company he works for, Price seizes the property of an elderly woman.
In that very moment he finds out the price of his humanity.
This is his story and the tale of his regrets…
From the description, it has a very “Drag Me to Hell” type vibe. New to Distraint: Deluxe Edition is dynamic coloring, increased environmental lighting, enhanced animation, graphics, and audio, as well as an improved user interface. Attendees at the Tokyo Game Show can also check out the game at the Rainy Frog Games’ booth on September 21-24. Stay tuned for more news here on Gaming Trend.
