If there is a game I just can’t shut up about it’d have to be the Neo-Victorian / Gaslamp title Dishonored. Watching the sword fighting in the Pilot episode of Revolution last night I thought “That just makes me want to play Dishonored”. To make the next 3 weeks wait a little longer, the folks at Arkane and Bethesda have released the fourth and final Developer Diary this morning – this one entitled “End Game”.
In this Developer Diary we get a behind-the-scenes look at what it took for Arkane Studios to bring Dishonored from early concept to final product. I know, based on my own preview time, that they trimmed some of the active/passive power list from 20 down to 12 to make for a more manageable and meaningful list of items for players to tinker with, and I can imagine that the game is more focused for it. Check out the video for Dishonored below.
Dishonored will be available in North America on October 9, 2012, in Australia and Spain on October 11, 2012, and throughout Europe on October 12, 2012, and is slated for release on the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, and PC.
