Destiny Writer Moves to TellTale to Help with Game of Thrones

Joshua Rubin, having previously worked on Bungie’s upcoming MMO-shooter Destiny, has revealed that he has joined TellTale Games to work on the studio’s upcoming Game of Thrones adaptation.

Rubin confirmed as much on his Twitter account, saying that “It’s a privilege to be working on Telltale’s @GameOfThrones. I am such a massive fan of the HBO show!”

Rubin has worked on projects at many high profile studios before his time at Bungie, including Capcom, Visceral Games and even working on Assassin’s Creed II at Ubisoft.

TellTale announced plans to develop an adaptation of Game of Thrones at VGX at the end of last year. Since then, the studio has been very quiet about the project while it’s been releasing the second season of its adaptation of The Walking Dead and the recently concluded The Wolf Among Us (which you can check out the Gaming Trend review of here).

The studio’s next project, Tales from the Borderlands is currently in the works. For more on that, you can check out our preview from this year’s E3.
