Some Destiny: Ghost Edition Pre-Orders Cancelled Due to Supply Issues

If you were one of the people who pre-ordered Destiny’s Ghost Edition, you might want to check your e-mail, because it looks like some orders are being actively cancelled.

A Wal-Mart customer on NeoGAF has screencapped an e-mail that states their Ghost Edition pre-order has been cancelled due to a lack of supply. The e-mail recommends the customer downgrade to the cheaper Limited Edition or cancel their pre-order entirely if that substitution is deemed unacceptable.

Bungie revealed the special editions for Destiny earlier this month, but it appears it won’t be able to supply as many as it had initially hoped.

Destiny is slated for release on September 9th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.
