At Opening Night Live of gamescom 2021, SEGA gave a first look at Rui, one of the many demons featured in Demon Slayer -Kimetsu no Yaiba- The Hinokami Chronicles.
The trailer they showed provided footage of the boss battle in which players will fight Rui as well as behind the scenes footage from Rui’s development and implementation in the game.

The game is still set for an October 13 release date when it will be available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam.
Fans of the anime will most likely have a lot to like about this release, as this game retains a ton of the visual and auditory aesthetic of the show all while adapting it into a playable experience for players to immerse themselves in. Here’s hoping that this game does not go the way of so many failed anime to video game adaptations.
