Delta Force: Hawk Ops goes to war in Alpha in August

Today, Delta Force: Hawk Ops finally reconfigured their alpha start date. August 6th is when your Hawk Ops’ing (that’s the term right?) will commence. This is a closed test, so you can go to playdeltaforce.com in order to sign up for a chance to try the shooter out. We had a lot of fun during our play test at Summer Game Fest, and you can check out that preview here.

LOS ANGELES – JULY 24 – Team Jade will launch the much anticipated PC Alpha test for Delta Force: Hawk Ops on August 6. In the Alpha test, players can experience two multiplayer modes – Hazard Operations and Havoc Warfare – each with new maps to compete on. Players interested in the Alpha test can gain access by signing up through playdeltaforce.com, accessing Steam’s Playtest feature or by following Delta Force on X for the Twitch Drop announcement and rules. In the meantime, players can also show their support by wishlisting on Steam or the Epic Games Store.

Ahead of the Alpha test, anticipation for the newest installment in the Delta Force series continues to grow with Delta Force: Hawk Ops reaching 600K wishlists on Steam.

“We are immensely grateful for the incredible support and enthusiasm shown by our community. Hitting 600,000 wishlists is a remarkable achievement, and we couldn’t have done it without our dedicated players,” said Shadow Guo, the Game Director at Team Jade, “Your passion fuels our commitment to deliver an exceptional gaming experience with Delta Force: Hawk Ops.”

Delta Force: Hawk Ops is an upcoming free-to-play tactical shooter currently in development for PC, console and mobile. As the next installment of the beloved Delta Force series, Delta Force: Hawk Ops is set to disrupt the FPS landscape with exciting large-scale multiplayer modes, as well as an action-packed single-player/co-op campaign based on the star-studded, cult classic 2001 Ridley Scott movie, Black Hawk Down. Both multiplayer modes will be available in the upcoming Alpha including:

Havoc Warfare: A large-scale PvP mode where teams battle across three massive maps (available in the Alpha) of authentic terrain, utilizing a range of military vehicles, tanks and aircraft to take on the enemy wherever he is across the large living battlefields.

Hazard Operations: Squads take on rival teams and marauding AI-controlled mercenaries and Royal Guards in this fresh take on the popular extraction shooter genre. Random events across two huge maps (available in the Alpha) will keep players on their toes, while challenging PvE-focused missions can be completed for valuable loot.
