Today, Alderac Entertainment Group (AEG) and Nomad Games released the digital version of their druid deck-building game, Mystic Vale. This game can be against others online and has an emphasis on crafting cards.
Mystic Vale puts you in the role of a druid of the Vale, seeking to destroy the rot that has taken root, and restore the lush green landscape of the magical land. You do this by crafting-cards. Your deck remains a constant 20 cards, but each card takes on new advancements that you buy each turn. Craft the best cards, and you’ll be the most powerful druid and win.
Mystic Vale’s backstory is of the Valley of Life rotting, hoping for druids to arrive and heal the land. In the digital version of the game, players will craft the cards that they’re fighting with, each with beautiful artwork. Prior to today, the game was in Steam Early Access.
Mystic Vale is available now on PC via Steam for $14.99. Expansions will be released at a later date. For more information, visit the game’s Steam page. For more information on the Mystic Vale card game, visit AEG’s website.
