Construction Simulator: Evolution puts in some elbow grease with Manual Labor Trailer

Ara and I have put a great deal of time into Construction Simulator, so when the team at astragon Entertainment GmbH announced Construction Simulator: Evolution, you know we were excited. This newest installment makes the move to Unreal Engine 5 and wow does it show. As you can see in the announcement trailer, it's a huge jump!

Now we've got a new announcement – it's time to get out of the cab and get some work done. In Construction Simulator: Evolution we'll be able to do a bit of manual labor to supplement our construction work. That's brick laying, building fences, digging, compacting, and much more. Check it out!

Manual labor gives a lot of expansion to the overall experience, giving us the chance to really get in and build things well beyond what we could do with just our fleet of vehicles. Here's a bit more about what we can expect:

Manual Labor brings in additional tasks on construction sites of Construction Simulator®: Evolution. From bricklaying and plastering new walls to shoveling, sawing wood, working with freshly poured concrete, and using nail guns to attach fence boards. These exciting new combinations create an especially realistic construction site experience unlike anything the franchise has offered before.

Of course, some tasks also require the use of machines, which, as usual, come from well-known licensing partners — such as vibratory plates from Ammann or jackhammers from Wacker Neuson. In total, nine different activities will be available, offering even more variety.

The game is headed our way in late 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S, with a Standard Edition, Deluxe Edition, and Year 1 Edition. In addition, a limited Collector's Edition with numerous exciting goodies for aspiring builders will become available in stores in selected countries. When we find out what's in all those edition's we'll be the first to let you know!
