Civ 5 Gets Major AI, Balance Patch

Take a glance at the notes for today’s Civilization 5 patch, and you’ll see Firaxis is still taking feedback on their game very, very seriously.  Effectively every mechanic in the game has been overhauled with dozens of tweaks and additions, including improved diplomatic reactions, fixes to how the AI wages land wars and naval invasions, new bonuses for completing social policy trees, sweeping changes to civilization-specific units and abilities, and the oft-requested return of end-game replays.

As a Steamworks game, Civ 5 will be automatically updated simply by logging into your Steam account with the game already installed, or by installing it anew.  Either way, check out the full patch notes by hitting the Press Release button below while you wait!
