Games Workshop has revealed a new set of Chaos Mutilators that will come out later this year alongside the release of a new narrative book featuring the Eye of Terror. Today, Games Workshop revealed the new models via a post on Warhammer Community. These mark the first time the Chaos Mutilators have received updated models since 2012. What's more - one piece of promotional artwork showed the Mutilators with an Iron Warriors paint scheme, and the Warhammer Community article noted that Iron Warriors Warsmiths (such as the newly revealed Kravek Morne) have long used Mutilators has front-line shock troops.

The new Mutilator models will be released later this year alongside the new Morne model (a rare instance of the Iron Warriors receiving a focus via the game) and a new book focused on the Eye of Terror. In the lead-up to 11th edition, Games Workshop has released a series of books focused on different space regions. The first featured Space Marine 2 protagonist Titus and the 500 worlds of Ultramar. The second book, due for release soon, will feature the lawless Maelstrom and space pirates.
