Call of Duty WWII wowed us at E3, but they were pretty tight lipped about the much-anticipated Nazi Zombies mode. Today we get our first look at a trailer showcasing the mode, and let’s just say that the goofy days of colorful crazy zombies is over. This trailer is creeeepy, thanks to the new engine Sledgehammer is using for Call of Duty WWII. Let’s get some context for all this flash-cut bloody business:
Sledgehammer Games delivers an original and terrifying new co-op survival experience in Call of Duty®: WWII Nazi Zombies. Players will embark on a chilling and mysterious journey through a snowy Bavarian village in Mittelburg, Germany, as they attempt to recover priceless works of art stolen by the Axis powers in World War II. This village holds a shadowy secret key to an unimaginable and monstrous power. Nothing is as it seems in this zombies horror, as a dark and sinister plot unfolds to unleash an invincible Nazi army of the dead.
Snapping up a pre-order for the game, disc or digital, will get you access to the Private Beta on PlayStation 4 from August 25th through August 28th, with the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 joining in the fun from September 1st through September 4th.
