We’re only two weeks away from Season 5 for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone, but that can’t stop us from looking ahead to the future. As mentioned yesterday, the marketing for Call of Duty 2023 is beginning, and seems to be in full swing after todays Twitter announcement. The official Call of Duty account said that a [REDACTED] event will get its first details in the Season 5 announcement. This, along with more information on the carrying forward of your purchases from Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone. One would assume it’ll be similar to the Black Ops Cold War reveal, where they used an in-Warzone event to show the map change to Verdansk ’84 and the trailer for Cold War.
