Capcom confirmed that Monster Hunter: World will be released on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 26th, 2018. For PC players, they will have to wait a little longer to participate to take on some beast bounties.
In addition to the release date, Capcom announced that it pre-orders for the game will being including a Digital Deluxe and a physical Collector’s edition of the game. the Digital Deluxe Edition for North America comes with the digital game, additional customizable options to be used in-game: a Samurai Set skin, three gestures, two stickers sets, and extra face paint and hair style options. This version of the game will be $69.99. The PlayStation 4 version of the Digital Deluxe Edition also includes 14 avatars based on weapons in the game. These contents will also be avaiable separately when the game is released.
The Collector’s Edition will include a physical copy of the game, a voucher for the additional Digital Deluxe Edition content, a 32 page hardcover art book, a high-quality flagship monster statue, and a digital soundtrack code in a custom box for $149.99.
Monster Hunter Worlds will be playable for attendees of Tokyo Game Show with a new quest in the Wildspire Waste location later this week.
