Blazon, a card drafting and tableau builder game where players create their own shields, launched on Kickstarter today

Blazon, a new card drafting game in which players take on the role of a medieval herald and create their own shields, launched today on Kickstarter and will run until January 19th, 2022. More details and a few pictures can be found below:

We are excited to announce that Blazon is now live on Kickstarter.

It is designed by Dave Conklin with beautiful art from Ian O’Toole (On Mars, Lisboa, Weather Machine, Rococo, and more).

In Blazon, you take on the role of a medieval herald, crafting your shield using devices and tinctures to distinguish yourself among your peers. Dave spent years studying and learning about this beautiful craft in order to weave together both a fun game as well as a game rooted in historical symbols and heraldic rules.

Like many of our other games, the choices you make on each turn are relatively simple, but how you make those choices has depth and impact. If you enjoy puzzle style tableau builders, then this is the game for you.

The campaign runs until Jan 19th and we would love to have your support on this project to help us kick off the new year. We have backer bonus items as well as a deluxe non-retail edition available through the Kickstarter.

Blazon plays 1 to 4 players, ages 14 and up, in around 30-60 minutes.
