Bossa Studios has announced that Bae Team’s debut dating sim Purrfect Date is now available on Steam. The game features cats you can date. Normally, that’s all there is, but something sinister is afoot in this feline fantasy.
Published by Bossa Studios (I Am Bread, Surgeon Simulator), Purrfect Date mixes dark British comedy influences with (decidedly furry) dating sim mechanics. Throughout the six main chapters, the player adopts the role of several freshly employed research assistants on an island almost entirely populated by cats, and is tasked with uncovering the location’s shady history.
“They said we could make a game about anything,” says the game’s creator Oliver Hindle. So we made a game about humans dating cats. 10/10, would gamedev again.”
Full of twists and turns, Purrfect Date is a truly unique concoction and rewards replays with multiple paths for the player to chose, and 18 different endings available.
