Bandai Namco Entertainment dropped a new Gameplay Showcase trailer for Elden Ring Tarnished Edition, giving Nintendo players a better sense of what awaits them before the game launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on August 28.
The showcase walks through some of the core hooks Tarnished newcomers will need to know. Players can shape their Tarnished into whatever kind of warrior fits their approach, call on spirit summons to tilt the odds in the middle of a tough fight, or link up with other players to push through the game's more brutal moments together.
Elden Ring Tarnished Edition is up for pre-order on Switch 2 now, bringing the base game and its expansion to a new audience. The original release pulled in more than 400 Game of the Year nominations on its way to becoming one of the defining action RPGs of the last several years, and this version is the Switch 2's chance to get in on it.
