Today, Ubisoft released the final update for Assassin's Creed Shadows on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2. The update adds a new story capping quest titled Black Tides to wrap up Naoe and Yasuke's adventures, replayable Domains to grind for gear and other rewards, a final Modern Day Rift called Horizon which connects to Black Flag Resynced, and more.
According to Assaciate Game Director Simon Lemay-Comtois, community feedback played a big part in this final update, specifically adding more Templar content and a highly-requested Legacy outfit.
Black Tides sees Naoe and Yasuke taking on a duo of elite Templars known as the Black Cross. To access the new quest, you'll need to complete the main story as well as the A Critical Encounter and A Puzzlement quests. You don't need to open the mysterious glyph door, but events will play out slightly differently if you have.
