Female Animal Crossing Villager is Playable in Next Smash Bros.

Nintendo has revealed that players will be able to play as a female Villager in the next Super Smash Bros.

The male Villager was revealed alongside the game during Nintendo’s E3 Nintendo Direct last year, but today, on Miiverse, the game’s director revealed that players will be able to choose between two sets of both genders through costume swaps.

Super Smash Bros. for 3DS and Wii U are slated for release in Summer and Winter of this year respectively.

Recently, Nintendo talked about its direction for its next console in light of poor sales of its currently active console, the Wii U, leading to the company’s third consecutive annual operating loss.
