It’s Tuesday, and that means that another batch of new games is unleashed upon the gaming public. With the end of the year approaching, we all know that this means it’s time for the biggest and best games to start to pop up. This week we’ve got Namco Bandai’s reinvention of the Ace Combat series with the release of Ace Combat Assault Horizon.
“This was a chance for us to take the franchise in a completely new direction, and that is exactly what we have accomplished with ACE COMBAT ASSAULT HORIZON,” said Kazutoki Kono, Producer and Executive Director at Project Aces, NAMCO BANDAI Games Inc. “We’re excited for both long-time fans and newcomers alike to experience the greatest masterpiece of the ACE COMBAT franchise.”
The first shipment of the games will include three multiplayer skills for online (presumably through a code), and everyone will be able to download a playable skin for the F15-C fighter from their recent Facebook contest. Also, the first batch of DLC has been announced for the game which will include a fictional aircraft (the ASF-X Shinden II) as well as the CFA-44 Nosferatu, Su-37 Terminator, Tornado GR.4, AV-8B Harrier II Plus, YF-23 Balck Widow II, F-15S/MTD and KA-50 Hokum.
But hey, don’t take a press release’s word for it, why not check out Gaming Trends review of the title?
