Today, Thunder Lotus released a new trailer for its upcoming management game Spiritfarer, which will be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam and GOG, with Stadia and Epic Games Store versions being released later this year. The new trailer comes with a significant update with a lot of mechanics.
“The new teaser certainly does accurately convey the forward momentum that our production has at this point!” admits Spiritfarer Creative Director Nicolas Guérin. “The game has only grown grander and more varied over the past few months, and it’s great to finally be giving a spotlight to some of the awesome new levels and characters the team has been creating. We’re excited to be adding Stadia and Epic Games Store to our list of launch platforms as well, since we’ve had many requests for this from our fans.”
Spiritfarer is a cozy management game about dying. You play Stella, ferrymaster to the deceased, a Spiritfarer. Build a boat to explore the world, then befriend and care for spirits before finally releasing them into the afterlife. Farm, mine, fish, harvest, cook, and craft your way across mystical seas. Join the adventure as Daffodil the cat, in two-player cooperative play. Spend relaxing quality time with your spirit passengers, create lasting memories, and, ultimately, learn how to say goodbye to your cherished friends. What will you leave behind?
Spiritfarer will be released in 2020 on the following platforms: with Xbox Game Pass for PC and Console, Xbox One, PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch™, Steam, GOG, Epic Games Store, Stadia, Mac and Linux.
