The newest Civilization release, Beyond Earth, is hitting virtual shelves next week and 2K has released the intro cinematic as evidence.
As the name would entail, Civilization: Beyond Earth is a much more science fiction-centered Civilization experience. The intro cinematic shows that off as you see a ship launched into the air as well as some shots from the great unknown we call outer space.
