We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: two from Dark Horse Comics and one from Marvel Comics!
We also have a quick announcement about our very own Tim Jenkins! At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're looking at this week!

The first six pages of The Witcher: Blood Stone #2!
The Witcher: Blood Stone - Issue #2
After giving us quite a mystery in Issue #1, Issue #2 takes things to the next level and the entire village is under attack. By what, that's the mystery we start to get together in this issue. Geralt does everything he can to help everyone, but this seems like a situation where there is no "perfect ending" when greed and hatred are so prevalent in the village itself. Curse? Or simply bad luck, we simply don't know.
The art for this series, an most all Witcher series from Dark Horse Comics fits so well in the Witcher-Universe. Providing horror, thriller, and beauty to a world filled with monsters. If you're a fan of The Witcher, this story is fabulous, pushing Geralt to his limits!

Variant cover art for X-Men United #1 featuring MANY X-Men all in the same place.
X-Men United (2026) - Issue #1
Graymatter Lane is the new home of many of the X-Men after their safe-space was taken from them. While not all of the original X-Men are on board, enough of them are there to start the school that Charles Xavier wanted them to put together. Emma Frost and Kitty Pryde put a lot of effort into bringing in an excellent group of mutants to lead, assist, and learn.
While there are a LOT of X-Men in this first issue, the main characters for Issue #1 are Emma Frost, Kitty Pryde, Wolverine, Laura Kinney, Nightcrawler, and a few others in smaller roles. Meanwhile, something is happening with Scott (Cyclops) that we'll hopefully learn more about in Issue #2!

The first six pages of Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome #2.
Cyberpunk 2077: Chrome - Issue #2
This series has been terrifying. Our original group we were following is half dead, the rest are surrounded by bodies recruited to hunt down a killer, and the killer - well, they're good at what they do.
Cyberpunk is already a pretty gritty look at our future. This story though takes us to the next level with a pretty bleak chance of escape from the situation. The art follows this vibe by being gritty, dark, and the usage of shadows really push the horror motif.
If you're a fan of Cyberpunk, obviously, you'll want to read through this series! However, if you're a fan of horror and thriller in general, this might be right up your alley!

You might be wondering, "where is 'Tim's Corner' this week?" Well, HE GOT MARRIED THIS WEEKEND! Tim and his partner Meaghan had a beautiful ceremony with their friends and family. We could not be happier for them and wish them all the joy in the world! Enjoy your honeymoon, Jenkins Crew!
