No matter the realm you're in, there should be comic books!

We're back to recap a great week of Comics & Manga we read here at GamingTrend.com last week! We have three comics to showcase this week: one from Dark Horse Comics, one from Marvel Comics, and one from Titan Manga.

We also have Tim Jenkins' impressions of the most recent issue of Spider-Man Noir (2025) #5! At the end, keep an eye out for a preview of what we're looking at this week!

Magic: The Gathering: Untold Stories: Elspeth - Issue #3

There is simply so much lore to Magic: the Gathering that nobody knows about. The comic run by Dark Horse Comics has been a fabulous way to combine the love of the card designs with the lore and legends behind the mega-popular TCG.

If you've not read anything, you can still pick the comic up and have a good time, you're just also clearly missing some background on some of the characters. As long as you're okay with that, the pace picks up quick and it's a fun read! You'll meet Elspeth and find out more about her work, her enemies, and the way she sees things around her!

Do Women Need Sex Entertainment - Vol. 1 + 2

This series is full of heart and good information about what can feel to be a very private matter. Do Women Need Sex Entertainment is about a young woman who loses her job during Covid only to find a job as a receptionist for an Escort Service. During her time there she learns not only about the industry she's in, but also about healthy sex practices, healthy intimacy, and healthy romance.

While the title might scare some away, these characters are simply too adorable to miss! With our group learning from each other about the world and themselves, each chapter brings something new and interesting to the table!

Spider-Man Noir - Issue #5 impressions

The case of Captain Stacy's murder comes to a close in Spider-Man Noir (2025) #5, and with it Erik Larson's run on the Spider Sleuth. Packed with action from the very first page, the story holds nothing back, pitting a powerless Spider-Man against himself as the extent of the Nazi plot in New York is revealed at last.

It's a wild ride filled with twists and high stakes and an ending that ties things up nicely without shutting the door on future stories.
