The Sims 4 has had a great year with some excellent releases of quality content. The latest addition to the franchise comes with two new Kits aimed at giving people some stylish cultural clothing choices!
The Fashion Street Kit offers styles inspired from the premier shopping center of the same name in Mumbai, India. The Sims collaborated with fashion expert Shruti Sitara Singh to create trendy and authentic fashion pieces direct from the heart of India! The kit also includes some REALLY cool henna tattoos that you can place on your character’s hands, and nose rings. I’m loving the bright colors, flowy pieces, and cute sandals included with the Fashion Street Kit.
The Incheon Arrivals Kit takes inspiration from the Incheon International Airport in South Korea. This massive area is not only an airport, but also houses a movie theater, ice rink, museums, gardens, and also a fashion runway! Seoul has become one of the preeminent fashion capitals of the world, and The Sims teamed up with TV host Jazzy Cho, who was also Miss Korea 2016, to design some really fun pieces for the Kit. Taking inspiration in the form of Hanbok, Korea’s traditional way of dress, Cho and the team give us long flowy shapes, tight angles, and bright hues. A lot of the pieces work well together to mix and match, and I really enjoyed that they gave us some baggy, comfy options for our Sims to hang out in!
Both of these Kits brought some new, exciting, and different looks to the game, which was very much needed. Much like the Courtyard Oasis Kit from earlier this year, I absolutely enjoy more exotic looks for both building, and dressing our Sims, and I hope to see more of it in the future!
In what seems to be hit after hit from The Sims 4 franchise this year, you can’t go wrong picking up the Incheon Arrivals, and Fashion Street Kits. At just $4.99 each, the price is right to get your Sims into some new, fashionable looks!
Holly Hudspeth is a best-selling author living in Fort Worth, Texas. She has six published novels to date; The Skyy Huntington Series, which is an epic dark fantasy adventure, and One Small Detail, a stand-alone medieval fantasy. Holly also enjoys writing fan fiction based on her avatars from games such as EverQuest, Elder Scrolls Online, and World of Warcraft. Her first major purchase at the established age of nine was the NES, and she has been gaming ever since. She enjoys fantasy games, city builders, RPGs, MMOs, SMITE, and The Sims franchise. Most nights she is in SMITE with her husband and friends, or playing ESO. When she isn't gaming, she is probably either at Disney or planning her next trip there.
The Sims 4 has released a lot of quality content this year, and the Fashion Street and Incheon Arrivals Kits don't disappoint. Both add wonderful pieces of clothing to your Sims wardrobes, with new and unique options we were desperately missing. The kits are reasonably priced at just $4.99 each, and definitely spice things up for your Sims!
