We recently got to go hands-on with the Gamescom demo for Vampire the Masquerade – Justice. Stepping into the World of Darkness, but with the interactivity only Virtual Reality can provide, we got our first glimpse of the combat, stealth, and a hint at the RPG elements for the upcoming game. While we didn’t get to see the persuasion and dialog systems in action, it’s readily apparent that a full XP system, skill points, equipment, and more await us when the game ships later this year. I recorded my time with the demo on the Oculus Quest 2. It’s running native on the hardware, which you might know makes it operate at a lesser framerate and resolution that we’ll see on other platforms. As such, please sprinkle that grain of salt over this gameplay footage — the game looks much better in person. Without further ado, let’s get to it!
You won’t have to wait long to go hands-on with the game yourself as it’s coming to Meta Quest 2, Meta Quest 3, PlayStation VR2, and PCVR on November 2nd!
