With Assassin’s Creed Origins just around the corner, we wanted to show you a little bit of what you have to look forward to. Today we are showcasing the first 30 minutes of the game on PC, running at Ultra settings, and at 1080p. There is a day one patch, and new drivers hit the airwaves today, which will only make it more smooth, but as you can see it’s already pretty smooth and gorgeous. The lighting in the first area of the tomb are some of the best we’ve seen to date.
For reference, I captured this on my laptop (you can see the specs in my review here), and the framerate is silky smooth. Enjoy!
Hunter is working on our review for the Xbox One X, arguably the flagship platform for this fresh take on the series. Stay tuned for more info, and our full review.
Assassin’s Creed Origins will release Friday, October 27th, 2017 on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC, with Xbox One X and PlayStation 4 Pro support.
