Today, during a panel at SXSW, Kojima Production revealed the pre-order trailer for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach along with a release date of June 26th, 2025. Pre-orders begin March 17th.
Embark on an inspiring mission of human connection beyond the UCA. Sam—with companions by his side—sets out on a new journey to save humanity from extinction. Join them as they traverse a world beset by otherworldly enemies, obstacles and a haunting question: should we have connected? Step by step, legendary game creator Hideo Kojima changes the world once again.
Additionally, the game will be receiving a Digital Deluxe Edition and a physical Collector's Edition, which include bonus exoskeletons, digital patches, an early unlock for the machine gun, a 15 inch Magellan Man statue, art cards, a dollman figurine, and a letter from Hideo Kojima. Both editions include a digital download of the game.
