Ever since Kingdom Hearts 3 left us on a massive cliffhanger, fans have been anticipating a DLC follow up. Friday at E3, a brief glimpse into the future (or, knowing this series, the past?) shows off some cryptic but exciting gameplay. Beyond a few mysterious lines of dialogue from known characters which may or may not take place during the main game (perhaps in a FFXV-esque additions to the main story) we see gameplay from the perspective of long-established characters. Additionally, Sora appears to transition into something similar to Final Form later in the trailer. Dropping this Winter, it’s still unclear whether this will continue the story from the finale, or add context into what we’ve already received. Take a look for yourself and let the speculation train start rolling.
