Naughty Dog has confirmed that fans will only be able to get into the Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End beta if they buy the Nathan Drake Collection when it comes out in October.
During a Q&A after a stream of Uncharted 4’s extended E3 demo, Naughty Dog clarified that it has no other plans to give access to the game’s multiplayer beta to those who don’t buy the upcoming Uncharted compilation. This means the studio won’t be offering codes and invites through other means, and if you want to play Uncharted 4’s beta you’ll have to buy the Nathan Drake Collection.
The Nathan Drake Collection brings all three of Naughty Dog’s original PlayStation 3 Uncharted games to the PlayStation 4 on October 9th. All three games will run at 1080p60 and will incorporate feedback from over the years to improve each game.
While at E3, we saw the extended demo of Uncharted 4 that Naughty Dog premiered today, and it led to the game winning our Best of Show award.
