RTS Hero is, as the name implies, an upcoming RTS game by solo developer
Henrique Cardoso. Henrique's aim is to make an RTS that's more approachable than other games in the genre, which has a notoriously steep learning curve. Players take the role of a hero character rather than only fighting using their troops. Each hero has their own abilities, like the sustaining Lightbringer's healing and support kit, or the agile Dragonblade, who specializes in dueling and mobility, or the dynamic Forest Spirit, who can control the neutral mobs that are scattered around the map.
RTS Hero also features resource management and base building aspects. Players can seamlessly shift between controlling their hero and the base building overview by pressing tab. Expanding your base and army are important, but not overly complex. RTS Hero is currently undergoing a Kickstarter campaign to get it funded.
