A new illustrated guide featuring Warhammer: Age of Sigmar is coming out soon, with Games Workshop turning to fans to decide on which miniature will grace the cover. Games Workshop announced that DK Books will produce Warhammer Age of Sigmar: The Ultimate Guide, a new illustrated coffee book-style publication featuring the miniatures of Warhammer: Age of Sigmar. The new book will be written by Jordan Green and Phil Kelly.
The book will be released in August, but Games Workshop announced a new contest to determine the cover star. Fans can vote between three miniatures to decide which will appear on the cover of the new guide. Two of the choices are Stormcast Eternals - Yndrasta, the Celestial Spear and the skull-helmed Ionus Cryptborn, Warden of Lost Souls. The third option is the dreaded Archaon the Everchosen, Exalted Grand Marshal of the Apocalypse, a champion of Chaos and one of the overarching "big bads" of the Age of Sigmar universe. The poll will remain open for one week, with the winner announced in late February.
DK Books previously published two books based on Warhammer 40,000 - Warhammer 40,000: The Ultimate Guide and the Warhammer 40,000 Character Encyclopedia.
