Viral horror game The Cabin Factory comes to console October 16th!

The Cabin Factory, the viral horror game where you inspect cabins and cast your vote if they are haunted or not (so you need to look at everything VERY closely) is coming to Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series S & X as well as Xbox One on October 16th.

The console release will include achievements for PlayStation and Xbox. The Supporter’s Pack DLC will not be a console release.

The Cabin Factory released on Steam December 2024 (1,700 Very Positive Reviews) Created by indie dev power couple International Cat Studios and published by Future Friends Games (CloverPit, Slots & Daggers), The Cabin Factory generated excitement pre announcement, going viral multiple times (TikTok & X)  and garnering millions of views.

Indie developer International Cat Studios have today announced that their debut title The Cabin Factory, published by Future Friends Games (CloverPit, Slots & Daggers) is coming to Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 & 5, Xbox Series S, Xbox Series S and Xbox One for  $2.99 / 2,99€ / £2.69. This psychological horror is inspired by spot-the-difference horror shorts like POOLS, Exit 8 and P.T.

The Cabin Factory is a walking spot-the-difference about sorting the artificially scary from the truly supernatural. It’s a simple job: check out all of the cabin props, and make the call whether they’re safe or not to be used on set.Pay close attention to each room. Any visual anomalies? Anything moving that shouldn’t be? If it’s  haunted, turn back immediately and press 'danger'. If safe, press 'clear'. The final decision is yours, but know that you’ll be penalised for making the wrong choice.

The Cabin Factory is a short horror experience (~60 minutes) inspired by 'The Exit 8', 'Pools', and their virtual predecessor, 'P.T.'.
