Joining the fun is a free update introducing new challenges, including snowy and stormy weather, enhanced management challenges and a sprinkling of cheer from the re-imagined Festive theme.

Frontier Developments today invites players to rediscover the magic of childhood and unleash their creativity with the launch of the Toybox Pack, the latest DLC for Planet Coaster 2. Dive into a playful new expansion bursting with imagination, colour, and nostalgia where every block, brushstroke, and idea bring creativity to life.

Players will build their very own wonderland, crafted block-by-block straight their childhood memories - from bustling toy cities and whimsical playgrounds to arts-and-crafts corners full of charm. Discover five new rides inspired by iconic family attractions, complete with out of the box blueprints or total customisation:

• The VECTOR NEW-GEN INVERTING SUSPENDED COASTER brings free-flying fun in a flexible coaster complete with space for legs to dangle.
• Recapture the classics with the F&N THRILLER INDUSTRIES – KID COASTER, a family friendly coaster for all ages.
• Ride the wave with WAVESIM, Planet Coaster 2’s first water-based flat ride, challenging guests to step onto a surfboard and hang 10!
• Deploy from the skies on AIRDROP, as guests take in the views as they are gently lowered from great heights.
• Delight guests with the dizzying HIGHROLL, as six independently rotating gondola arms twist high in the sky.

Accompanying these rides is a vivid scenery theme where the toys never have to be put away! From bright plastic skyscrapers to creative uses of cardboard and googly eyes, Park Managers can stuff their creations with stickers, pre-made blueprints and a variety of toy animatronics. Of course, no toybox is complete without an action figure, and new entertainer Max Stormcloud descends to embody the creativity and imagination of this unmissable addition for fans of all ages.

Releasing alongside the Toybox Pack is Update 8, a free update for all Planet Coaster 2 players. This update reintroduces the much-loved Festive theme, perfect for combining with the toybox’s cheerful aesthetic. It also adds enhancements to weather systems, management tools, and fan-favourite blueprints, giving every player something new to enjoy this holiday season.
