Copenhagen, Denmark, December 18th, 2025 – IO Interactive, the independent video game developer and publisher behind, among others, the internationally acclaimed HITMAN franchise, shares today an update on how players have been faring in the Elusive Target mission, Eminem vs. Slim Shady. The mission is available globally for free as part of the Free Starter Pack, and for HITMAN WOA players, on PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, ROG Xbox Ally X, ROG Xbox Ally, PC, Nintendo Switch™*, Nintendo Switch™2*, iPhone, iPad, and playable in VR on PS VR2 and PC VR. The Eminem vs. Slim Shady, a brand new DLC pack themed after the latest Elusive Target, is also available for a limited time only, until the end of the mission, on December 31st, on all platforms.

Eminem vs. Slim Shady has quickly proven to be a standout Elusive Target in HITMAN World of Assassination, challenging players to take on one of the most unpredictable targets Agent 47 has ever faced. So far, 31% of players have successfully completed the mission, highlighting just how unforgiving the assignment can be. Creativity has been on full display, with 4% of players opting for an explosive solution to eliminate Eminem during his live broadcast, while 6% relied on the s’ghetti sandwich to bring the mission to a close. True to the spirit of HITMAN, 25% of successful players achieved Silent Assassin status, carefully navigating the chaos without raising suspicion.

Following the conclusion of Eminem vs. Slim Shady, HITMAN World of Assassination will continue its creative celebrity-driven Elusive Target series, with Hollywood star Milla Jovovich set to headline the next mission, set to release in February 2026.
