This Halloween, World of Tanks Blitz Emerges from the Mist with AMC’s Smash Hit TV Series The Walking Dead

October 7, 2025 – This Halloween, World of Tanks Blitz descends into darkness. All month long, the battlefield will be covered with apocalyptic fog as the undead rise from the shadows. The journey begins in partnership with AMC’s legendary television series The Walking Dead, thrusting tankers into a fight for survival against relentless foes. Leading the charge are two fan-favorite characters from the series: Daryl Dixon, wielding his crossbow as he scans the mist for danger, and Negan, swinging his iconic bat “Lucille.”  

From October 9th to October 20th, tankers can join Daryl Dixon on the hunt for walkers in the exclusive “All Out War Event”. The road is brutal, but the rewards are worth it: a specially designed Herdbreaker tank built for the zombie apocalypse, legendary Georgia Tracker camouflage for the T32 tank, iconic collectibles like Daryl’s faithful crossbow and his battle-worn motorcycle, and more – all infused by authentic grit of The Walking Dead. 

Next up is Negan – a ruthless, cunning, and dangerously unpredictable strategist. He takes the lead with the “We Are All Negan” quest, offering even more exclusive crossover rewards: his avatar and profile background, the legendary Lucille’s Grin camouflage for the M48 Patton tank, and more. 

To deepen the eerie atmosphere of Halloween, World of Tanks Blitz introduces a brand-new PvP mode, “Infected Front.” From October 9th to October 19th, tank battles will be transformed into a desperate struggle between Survivalists and Undead tanks across fog-cloaked arenas. Unlike Survivalists, the Undead deal little damage with shells but unleash devastating power by ramming – a single hit is enough to destroy a Survivalist and spread the infection. To make the fight even more unpredictable, each Undead tank takes on a unique role that spreads chaos across the battlefield. 

And that’s not all, those who endure this nightmare can join the Rotting Bay event with the new Tier VIII Biter tank as the ultimate prize. This medium comes with reinforced turret armor, an autoloader for rapid bursts, and a menacing post-apocalyptic look. As a final treat, every player who logs in between October 9th and October 16th will be granted 15 days of Premium Account for free.
