In just 33 days since release, Sandfall Interactive’s video game debut, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33, has proven itself as a critical, artistic and commercial phenomenon with fans around the world.
Released on April 24, 2025 for both PC and console, the game has achieved numerous exceptional feats in a short space of time, resonating with new communities who have connected with the game’s story, gameplay, music, artistic vision and more. The debut project from the Montpellier-based studio Sandfall Interactive initially sold 1 million copies in its first three days of release, before going on to reach 3.3 million copies sold in just over one month; a remarkable achievement for an independent game and a brand-new IP.
