The Outlast Trials to launch on March 5th

The Outlast Trials is set to launch digitally with two versions on March 5th, 2024 for the PC, PlayStation, and Xbox. Both digital editions will feature a pre-order bonus, the Grizzly Hazmat Outfit. You can check out a new trailer above and read below for more details:

The Game Awards / Thursday, December 7, 2023 (Los Angeles, California) – Red Barrels, the indie development studio behind the critically-acclaimed and terrifying Outlast franchise, announced during The Game Awards that it is bringing its survival horror multiplayer The Outlast Trials to PC, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, Xbox® Series X|S and Xbox One® on March 5, 2024.

The Outlast Trails will be available digitally at launch in two versions, which can be pre-ordered on Microsoft and PlayStation digital stores now:

*STANDARD EDITION (game only) for $39.99 USD / $49.99 CAN / €39.99 EUR / £31.99 GBP
*DELUXE EDITION (game + Reagent Starter Pack*) for $49.99 USD / $63.99 CAN / €49.99 EUR / £41.74 GBP

Red Barrels also confirmed that there is a pre-order incentive for both versions of the game: the Grizzly Hazmat Outfit.

*REAGENT STARTER PACK contains 4 exclusive legendary player skins, exclusive cell items, player icons and cell posters.

Launched into Early Access on PC during May 2023, The Outlast Trials has been a phenomenal success, with over 1.5 million copies sold worldwide. For the V1 launch of the game on March 5, 2024, Red Barrel’s will be unveiling a terrifying new trial – Toy Factory, where test subjects are pitted against the psychotic Mother Gooseberry. In addition, there are several new features in the V1 update, including new MK challenges created specifically for Toy Factory, full console and controller support, new character customization options, outfits and an increased level cap.
